A day at Block 7
Primary runs Reception to Stage 6. Lower Secondary covers Stage 7 to Stage 9 (Form 1 and 2), and Upper Secondary takes learners through IGCSE from Form 3 to Form 4. Secondary moves between specialist rooms — science and biology labs, a robotics lab, a media room and the library.
The Hibiscus early-years programme
Block 7 is the only Hibiscus campus running the full secondary programme. Lower Secondary covers Forms 1 and 2 on a broad common curriculum including Coding and Global Perspectives. From Form 3, learners take compulsory English HL, Mathematics and one science, then choose electives from Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, History, Setswana, French, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, ICT and Advanced Maths — leading to the Cambridge IGCSE qualification in Form 4. Classes are capped at 25 learners, and our Support for Learning programme provides additional help where needed.

Good to know
- The only Hibiscus campus running secondary, from Form 1 through to IGCSE in Form 4.
- Primary and secondary share the campus, so Stage 6 learners move up without changing school.

- Cambridge Advanced AS-Level and A-Level are not currently offered.

Driven by innovation, robotics & AI
Botswana's most advanced school for robotics.
Robotics is not an after-school club bolted on at the end of the day. It is a structured STEM strand that starts at Pre-Reception and runs to Form 4, taught in a fully equipped Robotics and E-Gaming laboratory alongside a computer lab with 3D printers and laser cutters.
- A dedicated Robotics & E-Gaming lab and the Hibiscus Tech-Zone — not a shared classroom.
- 3D printing and laser cutting extend I.C.T., so learners turn ideas into working prototypes.
- Robotics runs from Pre-Reception and Reception, through Stages 1–7, into Forms 1–4.
- I.C.T. & Coding is a timetabled subject in Lower Secondary, with Computer Science at IGCSE.
- E-Sports uses competitive online games that reinforce learning for primary and secondary.
- We host the annual Robotics Make-A-Thon Convention — an inter-school contest in robotics, debate and quiz.
- Hibiscus StudyPal, our AI-powered study assistant, extends teaching into home learning.
